World Population Prospects 2024

Population estimates for 1950-2023 and projections to 2100 for 237 countries and areas and for UN, SDG, World Bank income and geographic aggregates: total population on 1 January and 1 July (thousands), density, age, births, deaths, life expectancy, fertility and net migration. The medium projection is used. Used as the per-capita denominator for projections and long histories; it differs slightly from World Bank population figures, so each chart uses one or the other and says which.
