CNES / AVISO+ (produced with CLS and LEGOS)

AVISO reference global mean sea level from satellite altimetry

Global mean sea level anomaly (metres) from the reference altimetry missions TOPEX/Poseidon, Jason-1, Jason-2, Jason-3 and Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich, about every 10 days from January 1993, over roughly 66°S to 66°N. Corrected for glacial isostatic adjustment, with annual and semi-annual signals removed and a 2-month filter applied. The TXT has no header: decimal year, GMSL (m) and the uncertainty envelope (m). The newest rows are revised as the filter updates. AVISO's own rate, 3.6 mm per year (±0.3, 90% confidence) "from 1999", is a published statement on the product page; any rate we compute is ours and is labelled as such. The licence forbids re-hosting the unmodified file, so only derived values are published.
