Statistical Review of World Energy 2026

The 75th edition, with 2025 data, published at the end of June 2026 (PDF created 29 June 2026). Used only for verbatim statements quoted with attribution, such as "Fossil fuels continued to expand in absolute terms and retained their dominant position, accounting for 86% of TES." (2025 Key highlights, printed page 3, PDF page 5). TES is total energy supply on the physical energy content method, which the Review adopted in its 2025 edition in place of the fossil-fuel-equivalent method; EI growth rates are adjusted for the leap year 2024. No EI table, chart or series is reproduced, and nothing sourced from S&P Global is used.
